Remember how we said in our Wrapped 2021 post that 2022 was set to be bigger? Well, 2022 sure started for us on a big note! We were major sponsors at one of the biggest Tech events in Africa — Techpoint Build which held on January 22, 2022 at the Landmark Conference Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Through the lens of a pioneer startup currently solving the land ownership deficit in Nigeria, we set out that day clad in our “Build Your Dream” fits to birth and awaken a Dream in the thousands of attendees flooding the hall. A Dream — that they too, in one click and 3 steps, can own a land in Nigeria and build their Dream Home with as little as 250 naira daily.
It seemed unbelievable at first. We saw the reactions on the attendees faces as they made their way to our exhibition booth in twos, threes and numbers after the Head of Business, Mr. Akinyinka Akinpelu dropped the mic from the demo session slotted for us as sponsors.
If the reactions were in emojis, they would be 😳,😲, 😀& 🤩. If there were in meme gifs, this would take the cake:
It was a delight watching their reactions, answering questions one-on-one about this RealTech Brand called Buildbay and watching them download our App on their Android and Apple devices on the spot.

Beyond the wow factor that our novel product — Flexi Real Estate — may have and this highlight of our Q1, as we start a new quarter, we want to assure you that we are committed to fulfilling every promise we have made and would see every one through.
